Shelly, a Foundational/Functional Medicine Practitioner, Nutritional Therapist, Trainer & Educator.

Foundational/Functional Health (or Medicine), for those who are new to the term, simply means looking at the root cause of disease, not treating the symptoms.

I describe myself as a born independent thinker, awake, and conscious — refusing vaccinations and a tonsillectomy

as a child because I couldn’t see the rationale to removing organs and taking prophylaxis medical injections. Due to my love of animals, nature, and what I learned from my Father as a child, I knew that survival and longevity was often dependent on the food one ate and the environment one resided in and, that when ill, nature’s plants provided the key.

I have over 50 years experience because my education started at home as a child and not in the institutionalised educational systems I attended as an adult. I did formally study real health (alternative in some people’s eyes). However, years later I decided to study conventional health to gain an understanding of the conventional system, gaining two degrees, one in Health & Social Care and the other in Nursing.

Since then I have continued my education and research, attending many courses in real health to consolidate what I learned in my earlier years. Learning Western and Eastern conventional and complimentary methods, and learning from the rightful top class world educators in real health, such as Jay Davidson, Todd Watts, Dan Nuzum, Jonathan Landsman, Joe Mercola, Joseph & Lara Pizzorno, Malte Hozzel, Rajnikant Patel, to name but a few.

I was one of two practitioners in the UK and a handful worldwide to be the first Cellcore Biosciences (CB) trained practitioners presented by the brilliant Jay Davidson, Todd Watts, and the scientists who all founded the company. The time in America provided me the opportunity to discover the answers to questions I had not been able to in the past and which resonated with me. Everything I had experienced clinically but was not matched in theory before training with CB was answered and that is when everything fell into place. I now have better tools to offer those on their journey to health a more holistic approach.

“You can learn a trade but living it furnishes you with the true scholarship of health.”
